I am a 25 year old living in the VT Upper Valley with my Husband. Having been born in New Hampshire and raised in Vermont rural life has always held a special place in my heart.
Since graduating from the University of Vermont, in 2009, with a B.A. in Anthropology and Studio Art; Seann my husband and I have nomadically lived in many corners of the United States. We have spent our summer working for an International Children's Summer camp that is very dear to our hearts.
I have been dreaming about working in the healthcare field for a number of years and have now decided to begin my journey into Midwifery as a Doula. I plan on living and working as a Doula for a number of years. Bearing and raising my own babies through toddlerhood before I move on to become CPM (Certified Professional Midwife).
It is my dream to help as many families through their birth experiences as possible and I hope to better societies understanding of what it means to "own" your birth experience and how important this is in today's world.
